Chinmaya Awareness Event at Brea

It was a special day at the Brea Bala Vihar facility on March 15, 2026. Swami Ishwarananda and members of the CMLA Board welcomed and connected with influential Hindu citizens of Brea and neighboring cities to spread awareness of the upcoming Hanuman Chalisa Havan event, to be held on September 5, 2026 at the BAPS Swaminarayan Temple. 

The common theme in the audience was the Seva attribute through which the various organizations are keeping Hindus living in USA close to the tradition, culture, language, art, language and heritage of Bharat and Sanatana Dharma. 

Shri Vasant Rathi graced the event as the Chief Guest. His message reiterated the importance of the Hindu organizations to the current and future generations of Hindus living away from India. The message was endorsed and resonated with the audience representing Radha Raman Temple, Sri Sairam Mandir, BAPS Swaminarayan Temple, Telugu Association of So Cal, Los Angeles Telugu Association, American Progressive Telugu Association, Kannada Cultural Association, Organization of Hindu Malyalees, Bharat Sevashram Sangha, Dakshini Bengali Association of California , Sanhiti Bengali Association, Silicon Andhra Manabadi, SoCal Tamil Kalvi, Chinmaya Mission patrons and devout Hindus.

Swamiji’s appeal to everyone was to come together at the Hanuman Chalisa Havan event to seek blessings of Lord Hanuman and Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda. The larger the gathering at the event, the stronger will be the representation of the Hindu community and the louder will be our commitment to the Sanatana Dharma ideals. The event will be an inspiration to the Hindu children growing up away from the origins of their parents/grandparents.
